Trivia[]
- The name Alfard is derived from the star Alpha Hydrae, a star located in the constellation Hydra, which has the traditional name "Alphard" or "Alfard". The name Alfard means "the solitary one" in arabic.
- Alfard is brightest star in the constellation Hydra, the largest of all the constellations in the sky. This may coincide with the fact that in-game, Alfard is the most prosperous of the Five Great Nations.
- Azha is H Eri, meaning "the hatching place"; and Mintaka is Delta Orionis, part of the belt of Orion.
- Lastly, Nihal is Beta Leporis, in Arabic being "quenching their thirst". This seems like a more direct reference to the use of the name Nihal in the game, applied to a desert.
