Knights Minigame is the name given to minigame that takes place during the invasion of Castle Elnath that must be completed for Kalas and company to proceed, as well as the sidequest aspect of it in Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean.
Premise[]
The Knights of Diadem are fighting Imperial Elites and Imperial Blackhelms of Alfard and Kalas and company must direct additional Knights to participate in seven battles. If the Knights win the battle, the group is rewarded with a Magnus. If the Knights are in a draw, no Magnus is rewarded and no battle takes place. If the Knights lose, no Magnus is rewarded and the group will have to battle Aflard's troops. Throughout the scenario, various weary Knights around the castle can be recruited by showing them the Diadem Royal Crest.
Logistics[]
Battle are won, tied, or lost by a simple comparison of mathematical strength. There are four classes of Knights you can direct, Senior Knight, Knight, Apprentice Knight, and Squire, as well as the class of Knights already in battle. Senior Knights are worth 8, Knights are worth 4, Knight Apprentices are worth 2, Squires are worth 1, and Knights already in battle are worth two. Additionally, Alfard's troops are divided into Imperial Elites, decked in red and worth 2, and Imperial Blackhelms, decked in black and worth 4. Total potential Knight strength is equal to 101, while total potential Imperial strength is equal to 52, meaning every battle can be easily won.
