Machina Arma: Marauder is a boss fought two separate times in Baten Kaitos Origins.
Fight 1[]
Field Guide Description[]
The passenger machina arma given to Nasca. The front turret fires a powerful plasma bullet. Any attempt to fight against the enraged Nasca's piloting without proper preparation beforehand is foolhardy and likely lethal.
Uses: Fire, Lightning, Shock
Weak: Ice
Strategy[]
This is one of those battles in which you do almost no damage but are forced to stay alive for a period of time. And yes, you do even less damage to the Marauder that Nasca is piloting than anything you’ve faced before, plus Nasca has an attack called the Machina Cannon which does 450 or so damage to the party, and his physicals do about 600 to one character. Luckily he’s very slow. You'll seriously get about three turns to one of his, plus he's weak against ice. Making this a great opportunity to test out Sagi's Rime Blade technique. Get a Heaven's Glacier off, and that's almost the whole battle right there.
