- As most of the locations in Baten Kaitos, the name Sadal Suud is derived from a star: Beta Aquarii, the brightest star in the constellation of Aquarius. Its traditional name is Sadalsuud, an Arabic expression meaning "luck of lucks". Note that the correct spelling is "Sadalsuud", but the location in-game is referred to as "Sadal Suud".
