Sandfeeder is a boss fought in Baten Kaitos Origins.
Field Guide Description[]
An oversized denizen of the sandhollow. It hurts anything that moves before it. Resistant to magic, but weaker to direct attacks. Some say the unique topography of the sand hollow was shaped by the Sandfeeders appetite for sand.
Uses: Physical, Sleep and HP Drain
Weak: Physical
Strategy[]
Beware of its combo, Paralyzing Quills followed by immediately by Lunchtime. Lunchtime doesn’t wake a character from the sleep induced by Quills, and does 200+ damage easy. Keep healing items on hand always, and try not to discard Fate’s Cordial unless all 3 characters are at near perfect health. Keep pounding and eventually it will fall.
