Sheliak

History

Sheliak, the castle town, is the capital of Diadem. The famous Castle Elnath, from where King Ladekahn rules over Diadem, is located here (although the castle is far bigger than the city itself). Sheliak is characteristic for its cobblestone streets, it´s gothic architecture and, obviously, its clouds.

The name Sheliak comes from the star Sheliak, which is contained in the Lyra constellation, and its name is simply the arabic translation of Lyra. Sheliak is actually made of 2 neighboring stars, both exceeding the temperature of the sun, and is one of the rare star couples that allow double eclipses to happen.

Origins

After the events in the Lava Caves in Azha, Verus sends Sagi to Diadem, to ask for King Ladekahn's cooperation for stopping Baelheit's promachination. As soon as Sagi and his friends get to Sheliak, they are greeted by Celsica, who takes them to Ladekahn. Before Sagi can talk to him, the young king and his friend Gibari rush to Nashira, so the heroes follow them through the Cloud Passage.

Eternal Wings

When Kalas, Xelha and Gibari get to Sheliak, they see that it was occupied by Imperial forces. As they walk in the city, they overhear Lyude talking with an Imperial Commander about the invasion to Diadem (Lyude defends the people of Diadem, but the commander doesn't listen to him). Trying to stop the Imperial Forces, they get into Castle Elnath using a flying imperial device.
