Hello everyone! We have a few updates to tell you about today.
First of all, I'd like to introduce a new Administrator on the Wiki, Eltaire. Eltaire is currently recording an LP of Eternal Wings that you can watch here and has been kind enough to offer to provide Magnus images in the future. (I'd also like to thank Esus of the Baten Kaitos Forum for providing some of the high-quality Magnus images already uploaded.)
Second, at Eltaire's recommendation, the two of us have been customizing the Achievement badges users can earn for editing to match a Baten Kaitos theme. We hope you'll join us in editing and discover some of these badges. ;)
And finally, the Baten Kaitos Wiki will no longer be an Affiliate of the Excite Wiki. This partnership was established because of my involvement in both Wikis, but I haven't been very active on that Wiki recently, and I've also come to think that it's preferable to partner with Wikis that are more relevant to Baten Kaitos fans.
I hope you all (all record 6,200 of you over the last week) continue to find our little Baten Kaitos database useful. Until next time!
PS. You may have noticed that the image counter you see to the right of articles reads in the 800s while our last update celebrated our 1000th image. This apparently is a bug and has been reported to Staff and passed along to Wikia's engineers. UPDATE: I'm told by Wikia Staff that the old image counter was never actually correct (so naturally it was used for years...) and that the current number is correct. Disappointing for sure, but in a way I'm excited to make 1000 images a new goal! ^_^
P.PS. The same problem is happening with the article count. This has coincided though with the Wiki's upgrade to MediaWiki 1.19 so it may be a bug that Wikia will soon be working out. UPDATE: Article count fixed.
